Remarkable performance by team Victorious

Manama : Bahrain’s team Victorious riders Fahad Hilal Al Khateri and Abdulrahman Al Zayed achieved podium places in the Samorin Horse Race, Slovakia, while their compatriot Yaquob Al Hamadi finished fourth in another race. Al Khateri raced to victory in the 120km race, while Al Zayed came first in the 160km competition.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa,  representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, hailed the results achieved by Bahrain’s riders in their overseas outings, stating that they are a source of honour for Bahrain.

“These results reflect the capabilities and abilities of the Bahraini riders and affirm the extraordinary level of the riders and the great experience they have gained thanks to the consistent policy of progress adopted under the wise leadership of the Kingdom of Bahrain,” Shaikh Nasser explained.

Shaikh Nasser expressed utmost happiness for their accomplishments, stating that the jockeys belonging to the Victorious team are capable of proving themselves on the global stage.

Dr. Khalid Ahmed lauded the Kingdom’s riders’ achievements, stating that they have successfully met all the goals preset prior to the events and valued the support the Victorious team is receiving from Shaikh Nasser who constantly follows the team and directing it and guiding them to achieve their goals.

Team trainer Ahmed Janahi, expressed his joy at the achievements made by the trio, underlining that they proved to everybody the high level of the equestrian riders.
