Campaigns to ensure road safety
Manama : The Traffic department plays a major role to enhance road safety by limiting accidents and fatalities through awareness campaigns, said Acting Deputy General Director of Traffic, Lt-Col. Mohammed Bin Daraj.
The Deputy General made the statement while visiting those injured in the accident that occurred in Al Areen area last week. He wished them fast and full recovery.
He stressed that maintaining high traffic safety for all is on the department’s top priority list. The Deputy General was accompanied by Acting Director of Operations and Traffic Control, Lt-Col Adel Al Dossairi and Head of Traffic Awareness, Captain Hind Al Thawadhi.
