Companies to benefit from new e-service

Manama : Internal Tenders eService, a new e-service, joins the list of other services available on the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning’s portal www.works.gov.bh and the national portal bahrain.bh.

Information Technology Director Hisham Sater revealed that the Ministry, in coordination with the Information and eGovernment Authority, launched the new service that allows companies to search and view internal tenders and get the documents for any new tender or buy copies of them. 

The service also allows them to receive copy of the documents obtained previously. Through the new service, companies are able to electronically follow up the new tenders on a daily basis, offer bids for the new tenders or learn further details about them. Besides, the results of opening such tenders can be viewed on the site every Monday sparing the trouble of visiting the Ministry. 

No amount is charged when offering bids for tenders BD10,000, while an amount of BD15 is charged when offering bids for tenders exceeding BD10,000 but below BD25,000.

To ensure utmost benefit of the service, companies can view a short movie available on all social media accounts for the Ministry on Instagram YouTube and Twitter.
