RCO chief inspects Bahrain School in Jordan

AmmanSecretary-General of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed paid an inspection visit to Bahrain School in Abu Nasir region, in Jordan yesterday. 

The school was set up by the RCO for Syrian refugees outside the camps.
The project is part of Bahrain’s contribution to supporting the children of the Syrian refugees in public schools. It also aims to back Jordan’s efforts to give school seats to the children of the Syrian refugees in public schools.

Earlier, Crown Prince,  Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa had announced support to Syrian brethren  at the International Donors Conference hosted by Kuwait under the patronage of Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah. 

The school is designated for female intermediate students from grade seven to 10 and has a capacity of 665 students. It consists of 19 classrooms, a library, a laboratory, two computer labs, administrative offices for teachers and other facilities. It will also be equipped with a solar warming system.

The RCO Secretary-General thanked His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the RCO Honorary President, for his continuous philanthropic initiatives to support people in brotherly and friendly countries. He also praised the great support given to the RCO by Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the Crown Prince.

He was accompanied by Bahrain Embassy Charge D’Affaires Mohammed Zebari and Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation Programme and Planning Director Mohammed Al Kilani.
