CP calls for honing skills as he meets fellowship members
Manama : The successful candidates of the second intake of the First Deputy Prime Minister’s (FDPM) fellowship programme, was congratulated by Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday.
During the meeting at Gudaibiya Palace, HRH the Crown Prince welcomed the newcomers and highlighted the success of the first intake of the programme, noting the significant level of skills and expertise they had developed.
Prince Salman also emphasised on the importance of supporting the Kingdom’s youth, who are the backbone of Bahrain’s prosperity and future.
“Bahrainis are the cornerstone of the nation’s sustainable development. The Kingdom will continue to invest in its citizens through various national programmes, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa,” he remarked.
Prince Salman exuded confidence that the students would capitalise on the many opportunities facilitated by the programme.
“They will boost their skill and expertise to help achieve their ambitions,” he commented on the occasion.
Through the conducive environment offered by the programme, the students could hone the abilities needed to become future leaders and contribute to increasing the proficiency of the national workforce and government employees.
The fellows expressed their gratitude to HRH Crown Prince and to the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minster in light of the support they had received.
