BSA in Dammam, 26th GCC water games taking place today

ManamaBahrain’s junior national team under the auspices of the Bahrain Swimming Association (BSA) are in Dammam, Saudi Arabia  to participate in the 26th GCC Water Games taking place from today until Saturday.

President of the BSA, Shaikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa,  met with the 18 swimmers prior to their departure and expressed his gratitude for all their efforts in training at a recent training camp in Bucharest, Romania.He also thanked the Saudi Arabian Swimming Federation, under the presidency of Prince Abdulaziz bin Fahd bin Abdullah in organising the competition.

The delegation is headed by General Secretary of the BSA, Faisal Abdulwahab, Chairman of the BSA technical committee Tariq Juma, team manager Sameer Ibrahim, first coach of the national team Alexander Carbloa, coach Dhafer Buzaid, coach Thaen Al Amer and judges Ahmed Khalaf and Jamal Rashid.

Swimmers: 

Open category: Omar Al Maliki, Faraj Saleh, Farhan Saleh, Khalid Abdullah. 15-17 years: Abdulaziz Abdullah. 

13-14 years: Abdullah Khalid, Abdulrahman Mubarak, Abdullah Isa, Sanad Abdullah. 

11-12 years: Ahmed Abdulnabi, Ali Sadeq, Khalid Jaber, Ali Abdullah, Suood Salah. 

10 years: Nasser Mohammed, Abdullah Bader, Salman Habib, Ahmed Suhail, Nasser Al Tamimi.
