Futsal League: Deaf, Special Education teams reach semis
Manama : The Deaf team and the Special Education team have both qualified for the semi-finals from Group 2 preliminary matches for the Khalid bin Hamad People with Disabilities League, organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs at the Riffa Sports Club Hall.
In the opening match the Deaf team were 10-2 winners over the Hearing Impaired team with goals from Akbar Salman (7) and one apiece by Hussain Habib, Younis Al Alawi and Hussain Mohamed, while for Hearing Impaired team by Mohammed Maki and Sayed Mohammed Alawi.
In the second match the Deaf team were 5-0 winners over Special Education thanks to goals by Akbar Salman (3) along with Ahmed Abdulaziz and Mohammed Ali.
The Special Education team reached the semi-finals following a 2-1 win over Hearing Impaired team thanks to goals by Ahmed Al Shaikh and Mohammed Farhan and the loan goal for Special Education scored by Mohammed Maki.
