2,194,664 entered Bahrain in July
Manama : The Passport Section of the King Fahd Causeway processed the travel documents of 2,194,664 travellers in July, at an average of 53 seconds for each during the peak hours.
Some additional time was required when vehicles carried citizens from non Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, said Assistant Undersecretary of Ports, Search and Follow Up of the Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA).
The causeway worked with its full capacity witnessed in the same period the entry of 1,100,272 travellers and departure of 1,100,272 travellers, at an average of 70,772 daily and 4,413 every hour at peak times.
The Undersecretary applauded the efforts of passport employees, especially during the weekends, valuing their roles in facilitating the paperwork of Bahrain’s visitors.
