Education Minister calls on sick students at SMC
Manama : Education Minister Dr. Majid Al Nuaimi visited students, who are undergoing treatment at the Salmaniya Medical Complex, here yesterday.
The minister enquired about their health and reassured their parents on the occasion.
The visit was based on directives by the leadership to provide more attention to students, who need special care in preparing for the start of the academic year.
Dr. Nuaimi stated that the ministry will provide all necessary support to these children at all levels and ensure that they get proper education, attention and support in exams.
It is worth mentioning that the ministry offers several academic programmes and educational methods devoted to various special needs classes in 75 integrated schools.
The students can opt for oral exams and are exempted from practical exams and physical education.
