Khalid bin Hamad's initiatives lauded

Manama : The International Military Sports Council (CISM)'s President Abdul-Hakeem Al-Shennou has expressed his pride and appreciation of the initiatives of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) lauding His Highness's efforts and contributions in promoting youth and sports activities and events in the kingdom and building and development of this vital sector.

Al-Shennou also lauded the initiative of HH Shaikh Khalid to include the first edition of the Handicapped Futsal Championship sportspeople in this major sports event which was organsied by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MYS) organization of His Highness's tournament, culminating in the convergence of more than 32 youth centres and more than 640 athletes from all over Bahrain's cities and villages that consolidated national unity and cohesion.

He expressed also thanked the chairman and members of the executive committee of the tournament for their efforts and contributions in this major event, wishing all semi-finally qualified teams further success.
