Indian expat drowns in sea
Manama : An Indian expat drowned while bathing in the sea on Asry beach. The deceased has been identified as Sajith Sankaran, 33, who was caught in potentially dangerous water current in the area.
Sajith, who hails from the Indian State of Kerala, went to the beach on Tuesday evening with some of his friends from Philippines.
A technician in Al Riwaq Art Space in Osama bin Zaid Avenue in Adliya, the bachelor has been leading an expat life here for the past seven years.
The company officials are in the process of sending the body to his hometown, Kannur, in Kerala. His body has been kept in the Salmania Medical Complex morgue.
