Warning for strong winds on September 5
Manama : An official source from the Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications said Bahrain is expected to be affected on September 5 by mild to strong northwesterly winds that could cause rising sand and the sea will be agitated. The directorate calls on seafarers to be cautious.
The northwesterly winds will subside later on Wednesday (September 7) in the evening. Due to those winds, the relative humidity will decrease remarkably giving a sensation of mild temperature mainly in the evening.
The average maximum temperature in September was 37 degrees Celsius and the average minimum temperature was 29 degrees Celsius.
