Conference on digital charity work
Manama : The organising committee of the Technical Creativity in Charity Work Conference said that preparations for the second edition of the conference are underway.
The event, themed “Digital Change in Charity Work”, will be held on October 23-24 under the patronage of Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel Humaidan.
The conference is expected to build on its previous successful edition which was held last year under the aegis of Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa.
Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, former Social Development Minister Dr Fatima Al Blushi, renowned figures and representatives of pioneering charity organisations and technical institutions will attend the conference.
It is expected to attract more than 400 participants from 23 GCC and Arab countries as well as Britain, Germany and the USA.
