Bahrain’s achievements lauded by Russia newspaper
Moscow : Russia’s most popular newspaper Kommersant yesterday highlighted the important visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Russian Federation and stressed the significance of the talks he will hold with President Vladimir Putin.
The daily said that HM King Hamad’s visit reflects the growing friendly relations between Bahrain and the Russian Federation and the keenness of the leaders to develop them in various fields in the interests of both countries.
The article noted the outstanding achievements, advanced developments and prosperity in Bahrain since the accession of the King to the throne. It also commended the National Action Charter and the Royal reforms.
Bahrain has made quantum leaps in the areas of development and political modernisation, as well as in the establishment of the constitutional institutions that have accentuated its regional and international standing, the newspaper said.
