Induction day held for Rayaat scholarship students

Manama : An Induction Day was held for those enrolled in Rayaat Scholarship Programme, by the Al Mabarrah Al Khalifia Foundation. The students were encouraged to develop their skills, learn from challenges and overcome obstacles while seeking employment.

40 students, selected on basis of their overall academic achievements were introduced to the programme, during the induction day, held for the sixth consecutive year.

“On behalf of the foundation, we would like to welcome and congratulate the new students enrolled in the scholarship programme. We encourage the new students to actively take part in the regular workshops and meetings held by the foundation. The activities aim to develop their skills and create a pool of graduates who are groomed to be ‘work-ready’ employees,”said Saba Seyadi Executive Director of Al Mabarrah Al khalifia Foundation.

Sami Al Buekri, Leadership and Self-development coach and the General Manager of Estithmar Consultancy lauded the role of the Foundation in supporting students and empowering them. 

Rayaat Scholarship was launched in 2011 as a comprehensive approach to promote educational achievement. It covers the tuition fees of students in addition to monthly financial incentives for outstanding students. Other benefits include the Rayaat Student Card which offers discounts at a number of retail outlets.
