Filipino Rafols replaces injured Countryman

ManamaFollowing the injury to Filipino superstar Crisanto Pitpitunge, Brave Combat Federation have found a replacement to fight Mexican Ivan Lopez in the bantamweight division category and are now back on track with another big Filipino name joining the card.

Bahrain wanted to keep Brave “The Beginning” card on the same international level as it was and believe that Jessie “The Finisher” Rafols is the answer to face Lopez on September 23 at Khalifa Sports City.

A professional mixed martial arts competitor since November 2007, the 30-year-old Rafols is a member of team D’Elements MMA Warrior’s and holds a professional record of 8 wins and 5 losses. 

Rafols who once rode a 7 fight win streak and is known for his remarkable Jiujitsu skills, with 6 out of his 8 career wins coming by way of submissions.

The Filipino MMA veteran, Rafols will have the chance to jump back on the winning train against a when he lands in Bahrain this September .
