Bizman cons telecom firm of BD250k
Manama : A local telecommunication company is looking for an Arab businessman, who has failed to settle bills worth almost BD250,000 after obtaining its service. It’s said that the man has already left the Kingdom.
According to sources, the businessman had owned a company in Bahrain with limited liability. His firm had subscribed the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) service provided by the telecommunication company.
The agreement was signed in 2003 between his firm and the telecom company. The man was committed to settling the bills until 2005. But from 2005 to 2007 he didn’t make any payment with the total outstanding amount reached BD246,3000.
The telecommunication company filed a lawsuit against him, and a court ruling issued in 2007, ordering him to settle the unpaid bills. But he fled from Bahrain after paying only BD300.
The telecom company is now making efforts through a local lawyer to find the whereabouts of the absconder.
