Bahrain’s distinguished human rights record stressed

ManamaHead of the Bahraini parliamentary delegation to Geneva, Ali Al-Aradi, the Representatives Council First Deputy Speaker, affirmed Bahrain’s capability to overcome all challenges, thanks to the national will and the pioneering royal reform project.

On the occasion of conclusion of the delegation’s visit to Geneva recently, Al-Aradi said that the delegation, during the visit on highlighting Bahrain’s distinguished human rights record. He also stressed the need for continuous work with relevant institutions and organisations to clarify the situation continuously, regarding the human rights issue in Bahrain.

Al-Aradi noted that the parliamentary delegation worked on laying the dangerous agenda of Iran and its interference in Bahrain’s affairs in an attempt to undermine its stability and the stability of the GCC countries.

 He denounced politicisation of the human rights issue at the international level, pointing out the unacceptable comments of the High Commissioner in his recent statements.

He added that many countries had voiced disappointment at the High Commissioner’s language.
