HM King reviews BDF plans
Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has reviewed the development programmes aiming to outfit the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) with cutting-edge military systems and boost the capabilities of its personnel through high level training.
During a visit to the BDF’s General Headquarters yesterday, HM King Hamad, who is also the Supreme Commander, discussed the results of last year’s training plans and success.
Upon arrival, King Hamad was welcomed by BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General, Dhiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Royal Guard Commander, Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and senior officers.
On the occasion, HM the King praised the outstanding capabilities of BDF affiliates in dealing with advanced training systems. “It will enable them to perform their patriotic duty to the fullest to protect the homeland and its national unity,” he remarked.
HM King Hamad also valued highly the patriotic efforts exerted by the BDF personnel bravely and efficiently, wishing them further success.
