Outcome of Govt Forum 2016 assessed

Manama: Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday reviewed the positive outcome of the Government Forum 2016 in backing efforts to improve performance and ensure citizens’ satisfaction over the government services.

The Crown Prince lauded the PM’s patronage of the forum which, he said, is part of the initiatives to ensure optimal use of human resources to improve government services.

Prince Khalifa and Prince Salman also reviewed regional and international developments, stressing the need for more international cooperation.

They underlined the importance of the diplomatic efforts spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in promoting cooperation between Bahrain and the rest of the world in light of regional and international security and economic challenges.

They also emphasised the development efforts to achieve citizens’ aspirations and boost their welfare.

The Premier and the Crown Prince affirmed continuity of the development march according to plans that take into consideration the present and future needs and quality of the services provided for the citizens.
They spotlighted, in this regard, the Kingdom’s achievements in the sport field, commending the international accomplishment of Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The latter had clinched third place internationally and first place at the Arab level in the World Endurance Championship in Slovakia.
