Bahraini among 100 most powerful Arab businesswomen

Manama: Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company Chief Financial Officer, Suha Karzoon has made it to Forbes’ list of 100 most powerful Arab businesswomen for the second year in a row.
The list includes women in government, family business and executive management roles who have made significant contributions in the fields of business. Suha ranked 27 out of the 100 top Arab businesswomen.
"This demonstrates Mumtalakat’s commitment towards gender equality and the promotion of women to leadership positions which has become a key focus for the company," Mumtalakat said. "Within Mumtalakat itself, women currently represent 46.4 % of the total workforce and 28.6 % of the management team. "

Suha has over 19 years of experience in finance and accounting, audit, advisory and statutory reporting services. Her industry exposure includes Financial Services, Insurance and the Public Sector.
She is a Certified Public Accountant, and holds a BSC degree in Accounting from the University of Bahrain.
