This is Bahrain to be held in Rome in November

Manama : The Bahrain Federation of Expatriate Associations (BFEA) will organise “This is Bahrain” event in Rome from November 9 to 12. 

The event will showcase achievements of Bahrain and raise awareness about the negative and inaccurate opinions about the Kingdom.

BFEA will lead a delegation of more than 200 people including ministers, parliament members, Shura Council members, members of the business community, religious institutes, clubs, societies and charities represented by both Bahrainis and expatriates.

This is Bahrain was previously organised in London, Berlin, Brussels, Paris, Washington DC and New York

“This is Bahrain in Rome will be our most powerful and most colourful yet, with some unique events being added. It is with great pleasure that we announce the establishment of a Full Professorship Chair, in the field of Peaceful Coexistence at Italy’s leading university, in the name of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa,” the organisers stated. 

“This is in recognition of HM King’s outstanding achievements, reforms and sincere commitment to human rights and especially the right to religious freedom and peaceful coexistence amongst peoples of all faiths,” 

“We are extremely proud that HM the King’s vision and our beloved Kingdom will be the focus of a new academic discipline and students from around the world will benefit from this wonderful opportunity. 

“Student exchange programmes will also be organised between our two countries to maximise the mutual benefit of the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Honours Degree in Peaceful Coexistence,” added the organisers.
