Witnesses to be heard in murder case
Manama : Prosecution witnesses will be heard on October 18 in the trial of two Filipino men, aged 36 and 39, accused in connection with murdering a Pakistani man.
According to court files, the Pakistani man’s body was found in an apartment in Hoora. An initial investigation confirmed that he was stabbed to death with a knife.
It’s said that one of the accused was in the victim’s debt and his failure to settle the money he owed led to the crime.
The first defendant stabbed the Pakistani national and the other man abetted the crime, said the prosecutors.
The duo also robbed several belongings of the victim, including cash before fleeing the scene.
Meanwhile, the prime accused had told the prosecutors earlier that his co-defendant wasn’t involved in the crime.
