Brave Combat begins today
Manama : The first edition of BRAVE Combat Federation gets underway from 6pm today at Khalifa Sports City Hall in Isa Town, with doors opening from 4.30pm.
The tournament organised by BRAVE Combat Federation sees the participation of 20 professional fighters. They include: Rami Aziz (Iraq), Abdulkareem Al Selwady (Jordan), Gadzhimusa Gaziev (Russia), Thiago Vieira (Brazil), Richie Martinez (US), Rami Aziz (Egypt), Ivan Lopez )Mexico), Abdul Muneer (India), Kevin Koldobsky (Argentina), Eldar Eldarov (Russia), Stephen Loman (Philippines), Frans Mlambo (Ireland), Mohamed Mashaly (Egypt), Hamza Al Kooheji (Bahrain), Suny Khatri (India), Bader Al Deen (UAE), Mohamed Farhad (India) and Jessie Raffols (Philippines).
The main match of the championship will have Iraq’s Ramzi Aziz facing Jordan’s Abdulkareem Al Selwady.
The event is being held under the patronage of Supreme Council for Youth & Sport First Vice Chairman and Bahrain Royal Equestrian & Endurance Federation President HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa founder of Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts Organisation (KHK MMA).
Shaikh Khalid stressed that the tournament will establish a strong global championship based in Bahrain gathering the strongest global fighters.He also wished luck to all competitors and appreciated the efforts of the organising committee.
