Bahrain introduce new commercial, industrial fee structure

Manama : The government has introduced a new fee structure for practising commercial activities in the Kingdom, DT News has learnt.
The decision, taken by Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, was issued on September 8 and was published last Thursday in the Official Gazette. It mentioned new revised fees required to practice commercial activities in industrial, construction, real-estate and agricultural sectors among others.
The renewed fee structure is effective, September 22, 2017.
Further, the ministry mentioned in a press statement that “the decision comes to complete the developmental plans that aim at enhancing the services provided to the commercial sector”.
“The decision was approved by the Cabinet on August 22, in light of the recommendation submitted by the Ministerial Committee for Legal Affairs. It came in the framework of revising the fees of practicing commercial activities,” the statement added.
