iPhone 7 rush begins in Bahrain
Manama : Hundreds of consumers lined up at Batelco City Centre shop last night to snag the latest iPhone 7 and 7 Plus as they went on sale in Bahrain.
A Batelco spokesman told DT News, “Batelco launched iPhone 7 at midnight last night at its City Centre Shop with the stock selling out very quickly. Customers are invited to place their orders either at Batelco City Centre shop or Batelco’s online e-shop. Their requests will be met as soon as possible as new stock will be arriving throughout the week.’’
iPhone 7 and 7 Plus features an all-new advanced camera system, dust and water-resistant design, stereo speaker system and the A10 fusion chip.
Long queues were seen at Zain Bahrain’s Bahrain International Airport branch when the iPhone was launched after 12am yesterday morning. There was overwhelming demand at both the airport branch and the Bahrain City Centre branch, both of which remained open past midnight for the launch.
