Workshop on ‘Corporate Governance’ held

ManamaKhaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB) recently conducted a workshop on ‘Corporate Governance.’

The one-day workshop was held in co-ordination with GFH financial group and talked about various methods of improving governance that will in turn benefit the organisation as a whole. 

The workshop, which was held on September 19 at KHCB main office in Bahrain Financial Harbour, was attended by the management and a number of Directors and Executives from both KHCB and GFH.

Led by Euromoney Learning Solutions, the workshop was aimed to broaden the awareness on Corporate Governance and polish the essential skills required for members, advisors of the Board of Directors to handle challenging situations. Chairman of KHCB Board Dr. Ahmed Khalil Al Mutawa said, “Organising this workshop is in line with the Board of Directors work policy as we value enhancing Corporate Governance on every level through continuous training and developing work mechanisms and policies.”

KHCB CEO Khalil Al Meer said, “The development and training processes both play a key role in the bank’s model as KHCB annually organises a series of training programmes for all employees of the bank to ensure qualified manpower that works on delivering the highest performance.”
