12 Bahraini men's bomb blast case trial adjourned
Manama : The High Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 12 Bahraini men suspected of detonating a bomb until October 27 to hear prosecution witnesses.
The incident took place in Karana, where the defendants along with other unidentified men have triggered the bomb, injuring two police officers.
Prosecutors said the culprits have deliberately carried out a riot in the area to lure the cops in order to target them with the explosives.
The defendants carried out the attack with intention of murdering the police officers, the Public Prosecution underlined in the complaint against them. The attackers also attacked cops with iron rods and firebombs before the bomb went off.
All 12 have been charged with rioting, besides manufacturing, possessing and detonating bombs.
