Asians jailed for robbery
Manama : Three Asian men accused of robbery have had their jail sentences upheld by the High Criminal Appeals Court.
The trio were earlier sentenced to six months behind bars each for stealing diesel worth BD8854 from the company where they were serving.
The case against them was reported to police by their employers. The trio are said to have stolen diesel from the trucks of the company before they sold it to other parties.
The convicted men admitted to their crime, and one of them revealed that he made BD4573 from the act. The defendants will be deported once they complete their jail times.
