Labourer stabs roommate
Manama : The High Criminal Court yesterday upheld the 6 months prison sentence issued against a labourer convicted of physical assault.
The defendant, aged 22, reportedly stabbed a roommate with a knife in his room in Sitra. The victim reportedly verbally abused the man and his mother, which angered the man leading to the incident. The victim was taken to hospital and survived.
The defendant was sentenced to six months behind bars as the court cleared the victim of any wrongdoing.
