Electricity and Water Authority to start e-billing system
Manama : Utility bills for Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) will be available electronically from November. The Executive Vice President of Distribution and Customer Services Adnan Mohammed Fakhro said that they hope to completely phase out paper billing by the end of December.
“We appeal to all users to make sure they have their email and phone numbers updated in the EWA systems so that they do not miss any bill to avoid disconnection.” he said. The decision comes in collaboration with the eGovernmenmt Authority as part of the EWA’s green initiative.
