Security man arrested for blackmailing woman
Manama : The High Criminal Court upheld the conviction of a local mall’s Arab security man, who blackmailed a 28-year-old woman. The defendant reportedly threatened the victim after seizing her photos from her phone.
According to court files, the woman lost her phone in the mall, and the security men chief in the mall handed it over to the defendant, who was on duty, to give it back to the woman when she returns.
He reportedly stole some private photos of the woman and threatened her about spreading images if she refuses to meet him at his home. The women went to see the defendant accompanied by police, who nabbed him. The defendant will be deported after he completes his jail term.
