BBK backs CPISP
Manama : BBK (Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait) has reaffirmed its support to the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP), and renewed its Platinum sponsorship of the Programme, pledging a total of BD1 million over the next 5 years. This came during a cheque presentation ceremony held at the BBK headquarters in Manama.
BBK Chief Executive, Reyadh Sater welcomed Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa, Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince and Board Member and Head of the Financial and Administrative Committee of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP) and presented him with a check for BD200,000.
Sater praised the efforts of Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to develop educational and training programmes aimed at youth and human resource development.
He also affirmed BBK’s keenness to support educational and developmental initiatives.
Shaikh Mohammed thanked BBK for its continuous support and generous contributions to the Programme. He also affirmed that the support received by sponsors has greatly contributed to the CPISP’s success and its objectives, which are aimed at developing the talents and abilities of outstanding Bahraini students and providing them with the best educational opportunities at top international universities. Also present were, from BBK, Assistant General Manager of Human Resources & Administration, Hassaan Mohammed Burshaid, Head of Corporate Communication, Rafa Kaddoura and Corporate Communication Specialist, A.
