Tubli dirt roads work begins
Manama : The Ministry of Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning has commenced the construction of Road 164 and the surroundings in Block 701 in Tubli. “This is part of the dirt roads paving project. It would benefit 246 buildings in the area,” said Roads Projects and Maintenance Director Sayyed Bader Alawi yesterday.
According to Alawi, the Dirt Roads Programme is part of the government’s programme aiming to improve infrastructure and create an integrated roads network in all areas in the Kingdom.
Alawi explained that the BD702,382-project comprised of paving a total of 7.19km long roads, including ground channels, a storm water drainage network, new lighting network, painting works and signage.
