Court jails nine arsonists
Manama : The Supreme Appeals Court has upheld the sentences issued against nine defendants in connection with an arson case.
All of them were earlier sentenced to three years behind bars each. According to the case, the Bahrainis allegedly set tyres on fire in the village of Salmabad with the intention of obstructing traffic and put lives and properties in danger.
The accused landed in police net following police investigation into the incident, which occurred on August 11, 2014.
The defendants had been found guilty of arson.
