Bahrain condemns terror bombing in Baghdad
Manama : The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that took place yesterday targeting a funeral in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, which resulted in killing and wounding dozens.
"The ministry expresses its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to all the injured as a result of this terrorist act, which contradicts all religious principles and human values."
"It affirms the Kingdom’s solidarity with the Republic of Iraq in the face of violence and terrorism and its support for their efforts to achieve security and stability," according to the statement issued by the ministry.
The ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's firm rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations whatever the motives and justifications, and urged for concerted regional and international efforts aimed at eliminating this dangerous scourge that threatens peace and security.
