Minister appoints ombudsman panel on land division
Manama : Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam Khalaf issued ministerial edict (180) for 2016 on the setting up of an ombudsman panel concerning land division.
The committee will be presided by the Assistant Undersecretary for Roads and have members from relevant parties. The move, the Minister said, reflects the ministry’s keenness to promote the principle of transparency and allow citizens and developers to review their applications regarding land division before a specialised party.
The panel, he added, features in its membership representatives of Bahrain Society of Engineers and the Society of Engineering Offices.
