Bahrain's largest water-theme park is gearing up for a special charity event this month.

Manama : The Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park (LPOD) in partnership with Houras Consultancy will host the 'Pinoy Masskara Festival' on October 28.

“After this year’s successful Pinoy Day Out held last June 2016, which saw an attendance of more than 3,000 plus Filipinos  at the water park, we find it more fitting to host another event but this time celebrating one of Philippine’s happiest festival," said LPOD general manager Pierre Vasseur.

"This kind of events truly makes the water park a one of a kind venue as it becomes a platform where different communities celebrates and showcase their various culture and  traditions in the Kingdom of Bahrain.”

The festival is held each year to remind people that no matter how tough and bad the times were, good will triumph.

This special event aims to gather thousands of Filipino  individuals and families as well as locals and  other nationals living in and outside Bahrain.

The day will feature a colorful Masskara Street Dances and parades represented by various students from the Philippine School of Bahrain and Filipino Community group Katiling-ban sang Mga Ilonggo sa Bahrain (KIB) , a Filipino Food festival , Live Filipino DJs and  exciting family activities.
