Man gets jail for attacking his neighbour
Manama : A 21-year-old defendant was jailed for four years after being found guilty of physically assaulting his neighbour. The defendant and the victim were reportedly having bad blood and the former teamed up with his friend and carried out the assault.
The victim reportedly suffered a broken nose and a permanent impairment to his lungs. A medical report also stated that the defendant had suffered injuries to his head, left arm, neck and chest.
According to the court files, the assailants also robbed the victim’s phone after the assault. The defendant’s friend was sent to a military court for trial.
