Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Bahrain return policy announced

Manama : Samsung Galaxy Note 7 owners in Bahrain are requested to either exchange or return their devices to a brand dealer here between October 18 and December 31. 

This is according to a statement released by Samsung and posted on the social media channels of the Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry’s Consumer Protection Directorate. 

The statement reads, “Further to the announcement made last week, Samsung Gulf Electronics confirms that beginning October 18, consumers who have a Galaxy Note7 can exchange their phone for a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, or receive a refund. Exchange & Refund Programme are valid from October 18 to December 31, 2016.”

The statement further said, “Exchange the Galaxy Note7 for a Galaxy S7 edge with refund of the price difference (in the form of cash or a gift voucher amounting to BD66).”

Samsung Brand Shop in Bahrain City Centre, Samsung Brand Shop in Seef Mall, Muharraq, Samsung Experience Shop in GOSI Complex, Samsung Experience Shop in Sultan Mall and Samsung Brand Shop in Juffair Mall are authorised to initiate the recall process. 

The company’s statement added, “Consumers who have a replacement Galaxy Note7 device, but do not have a valid purchase receipt or have questions related to the process are advised to seek assistance by calling Samsung’s call centre on the  80004726.”
