BRITMUN Conference begins today
Manama : British School of Bahrain’s three-day BRITMUN Conference will begin at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Conference Centre, at 6pm.
Through the conference, BRITMUN hopes to achieve the highest level of debate within the boundaries of Model United Nations. North American Invitational Model United Nations (NAIMUN) and the Georgetown International Relations Association of Georgetown University are the partners of the conference.
On the sidelines of the conference, CEO of Georgetown International Relations Association (GIRA) Matthew Robinson and other delegates held discussions with BSB chairman Rashad Janahi and Head of School Julie Anne Gilbert yesterday.
“The foundation of BRITMUN lies in its quality of debate. The conference has established itself as the region’s premier Model UN Conference for students. We recognise that an open exchange of ideas is one of the best ways of learning. The conference will witness a rigorous debate today, ” Head of School Julie Anne Gilbert said.
