BritMUN showcases quality debate
Manama : Showcasing quality debate by brilliant students, British School of Bahrain’s three-day BritMUN Conference concluded last night at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Conference Centre.
The conference, which has established itself as the region’s premier Model UN Conference for students, was held in exclusive partnership with North American Invitational Model United Nations (NAIMUN) and the Georgetown International Relations Association (GIRA) of Georgetown University.
GIRA CEO Matthew Robinson said the conference was exceptional, adding that he was excited to have future collaboration with the British School of Bahrain.
Director of MUN Shakeel Shaikh said, “We recognise that an open exchange of ideas is one of the best ways of learning, and that is why we have built a diverse conference.”
BritMUN has inspired students to stand up and bring change to the world through rigorous discourse and debate and to build a more peaceful, progressive and prosperous future for themselves, and for generations to come, he added.
