Man jailed for swindling BD40,000
Manama : The High Criminal Appeals Court has upheld the two-month imprisonment of a man convicted of swindling BD40,000.
The 39-year-old defendant promised to deliver a used car to the victim in exchange of the amount and also gave him a business card of a car service company. However, he reportedly fled with the money.
The event occurred in March 2009, and the defendant was held guilty of fraud.
