Trial postponed in harbouring fugitives into Bahrain
Manama : The closing arguments in the trial of a man accused of sheltering three fugitives will be heard on November 14.
The defendant is said to have housed the trio in his apartment and also provided them with food and beverages.
According to the court documents, the fugitives were wanted in a case, and were sentenced to seven years in prison each.
The police raided the apartment and arrested them after receiving a tip-off about the whereabouts of the fugitives.
The defendant confessed that he sheltered the fugitives despite being aware that they were wanted by the police.
They reportedly stayed in his apartment for six months.
