Camping season registration begins
Manama : Registration for the camping season this year begins today, the Supreme Camping Committee has announced. Campers can register through a new electronic registration system, a highlight of this year.
“E-registration can be done through a special application for smart phones. Registration could also be done by visiting Southern Governorate building in Awali,” the committee stated.
“You could reserve the land where you intend to camp through the app. Campers would shortly receive a confirmation text. This saves them time and efforts, by reducing the usual registration and location reservation procedures,” the committee added.
The statement also mentioned that the app would allow users to see the latest updates and winners, and read the terms and conditions of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Best Camp Award.
The camping season kicks off on November 10 and concludes on March 4.
