New exit road inaugurated
Manama : Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Essam Khalaf opened the new exit from Busaiteen in Muharraq Governorate to Sh. Isa bin Salman Causeway. The exit road is expected to decrease traffic congestion along Ghous Avenue by 20pc.
The project is part of Phase 2 of the dirt roads paving project in Blocks 226 and 228 in Busaiteen. The inauguration was attended by Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi, Representative to the 1st Constituency MP Ali Isa Bofarsan, Chairman to Muharraq Municipality Mohammed Abdulla Al Sinan, Municipal Member of Muharraq Municipality’s 1st Constituency Yousif Mohammed Al Rayyes, a number of officials and engineers from the ministry.
The exit is located behind King Hamad Hospital, where Avenue 9 has been directly linked to the causeway to ease traffic congestions.
