RBH, RCO sign deal to renew free treatment
Manama : The Royal Bahrain Hospital (RBH) and Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) have renewed an agreement to provide free medical treatment for orphans and widows during the year 2016-17.
The signing ceremony was held at the RCO headquarters in the presence of Dr. Sheriff Sahadulla, Executive Director & Chief Medical Officer at Royal Bahrain Hospital, Rahma Jaberi, Deputy General Manager, KIMS Group and Yusuf Al Yaqoob, Asst. Secretary General for Planning & Charity Resources Development at RCO, in addition to the officials from both parties.
As per the agreement, RBH will continue to provide free medical care including surgical intervention, physiotherapy, health screenings, orthodontic braces, eye check-ups, breast cancer screening, emergency support and much more.
Commenting on the initiative, Dr. Sheriff Sahadulla from RBH, said: “We will continue to support charitable organisations to make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged.”
Speaking on the occasion, Ahmed Jawahery, President at RBH, said, “Royal Bahrain Hospital is a successful Indo-Bahraini venture. It is our mission to support the Bahraini community and shall persist with our contribution.”
