Bahrain’s commitment to diversity underlined
Manama : On behalf of Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday visited the Gajria, Kewalram, Bhatia, Asarpota, Haridas, Ajay and Sharma families to mark the festival of Diwali.
Shaikh Mohammed extended the greetings of the Crown Prince to the families, and expressed Prince Salman’s appreciation for the families’ important contribution to the Kingdom’s economy.
During the visits, Shaikh Mohammed noted HM the King’s commitment to enshrining pluralism within the Kingdom. He added that moderation and tolerance are two important values that have been upheld by Islam, and that Bahrain’s long established multicultural society continues to foster religious and cultural understanding.
Shaikh Mohammed extended his best wishes to the families, emphasising that the Kingdom celebrates its diversity as a source of strength, and that this diversity is embodied in citizens’ and residents’ commitment developing Bahrain together.
The families expressed their gratitude for Shaikh Mohammed’s visit, and expressed appreciation for the continued support of the Crown Prince.
