PM for GCC-Turkish ties

Manama : Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa called to set up a GCC-Turkish partnership targeting all economic aspects and permitting to ensure maximum benefit from the active investment climate in both sides.

HRH the Premier was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday participants in the second Gulf-Turkish Forum. 

Prince Khalifa stressed the successful development experience underwent by both sides, which paves the way for an economic development model that helps the GCC countries and Turkey to overcome all challenges posed by the global economy. He also underlined Bahrain’s support to all efforts aimed at boosting regional and international economic cooperation.

HRH the Premier urged to establish large-scale regional and international economic partnerships and to focus efforts on development to brave challenges. Emphasising the need to give economic development top priority, he said, “there is no successful policy without a strong economy”. The Premier also warned of the repercussions of being distracted by politics and conflicts, pointing out what is happening in some countries. 

HRH the Prime Minister underscored the importance of the Gulf-Turkish Forum as a platform to set up joint projects and enhance relations between both sides. 

He also reviewed with them economic and commercial issues.
