VCBank names Marafie Chairman

Manama : Venture Capital Bank (VCBank) announced yesterday the election of Abdulfatah Marafie as its  Chairman and Mohammed AlSarhan as Deputy Chairman. 

The move follows the departure of Dr. Ghassan Al Sulaiman, due to his ministerial appointment as Governor of the General Authority of Small and Medium Enterprises in Saudi Arabia.

Marafie, is a founding shareholder and has been serving as Deputy Chairman of VCBank since its inception in 2005. He is a prominent Kuwaiti businessman with over 36 years of experience, primarily in real estate. AlSarhan has served as Board Member of VCBank since 2012. He has over 38 years of experience. 

Commenting on his appointment as Chairman of VCBank, Marafie said: “I am also looking forward to working with our Deputy Chairman Mohammed AlSarhan, who has demonstrated excellent knowledge and experience for VCBank to achieve further growth and development of its services and
products”.
